I created this spelling dictionary when my eldest was learning to write. I quickly tired of spelling out the words she used all of the time, and went on the hunt for a spelling dictionary. I remembered having one in school as a kid, but couldn't locate anything that was currently in print.
I sat down with the Dolch site word lists and the books my kids loved to create a dictionary that has the words your kids will most often be asking you to spell.
As a bonus, letters have double spreads, meaning you can write in the words your kid uses (for example, Titanic is written on the T page in my son's copy and unicorn on the U page of my daughter's).
